Nsight Telservices, a local communications provider, announced a new venture, Nsight Long Distance, into the rapidly growing telecommunications industry. Nsight Long Distance will
market long distance, toll-free and calling card services to residential and business customers in Wisconsin.
Nsight Long Distance will service areas in Northeast Wisconsin before expanding to other areas of the state during the 3rd and 4th quarters in 2000. The company began as Northeast
Telephone Long Distance in 1997 and serviced the Pulaski area. "We are very excited to be entering this rapidly growing segment of the telecommunications market," said Larry
Lueck, Operations Manager.
Nsight will offer simple, one-rate domestic pricing, regardless of the location that you are calling. Additionally, Nsight does not charge PICC, USF or monthly usage charges, which
can typically add to cost of your long distance service. "We want to take a lot of the confusion out of calling plans and offer the consumer real value and simplicity when making
a choice," added Lueck.
Nsight plans on hiring additional sales and customer service staff during the second half of the year to accommodate anticipated growth in new markets. "We are looking forward
to introducing to the market a new philosophy that will allow us to strategically position ourselves with key organizations," said Lueck.
Nsight's parent, Nsight Telservices, completed construction of its new office building off Hwy 29 in the AMS industrial park. Nsight Telservices not only counts Nsight Long Distance
among its subsidiaries, but Northeast Telephone Company, NetNet, NET Cable, Cellcom, Local Nsight and St. Paul Tower.
