Wisconsin is divided into four calling areas, called LATAs.

An INTRALATA call is a call within the same LATA, i.e. Green Bay (920) to Eagle River (715).

An INTERLATA call is a call from one LATA to another, i.e. Green Bay (920) to Milwaukee (414).
